The director · Atlanta
Fifteen years. Six continents of nerve.
Jabriel Films was built on a simple idea: the brands worth working with deserve a director who treats a thirty-second spot with the same seriousness as a feature. Fifteen years later that is still how we work.
· The director
Story first. Always has been.A director who came up doing every job on set.
Jabriel is an award-winning director with over fifteen years of global experience creating cinematic, story-first work across documentary, branded and narrative film. He has directed, shot, pulled focus and operated, which is why he can run a set and protect an idea at the same time.
In 2025 alone he directed more than forty commercials for Delta Air Lines, including Akwaaba, a critically acclaimed film spotlighting remarkable young women in Accra that played on Delta flights worldwide.
A brand film built by someone who has carried a narrative feature through post is a different object than one built to a template. Nearly ten feature-length films shot, alongside campaigns for Porsche, ASUS, Hennessy and Under Armour.

The receipts.Where the work has landed.
Jabriel sat down with Power 105.1 to talk about getting into film, directing, casting Jess Hilarious, and the making of the feature I Hate I Love You.
Akwaaba, the Delta-backed film following young women in Accra, won at three festivals across the country and played on every Delta flight worldwide.
The TEAM USA x Delta spot ran as an official commercial for the Milan Olympics, one of the largest stages in global advertising.
I Hate I Love You premiered exclusively on Peacock and streams on Tubi and YouTube. Keyshia Cole: This Is My Story aired as a Lifetime biopic, and Never Would Have Made It: The Marvin Sapp Story aired as a TV One biopic.
Work directed and shot by Jabriel Films has drawn more than 130 million views across YouTube. The Porsche x Meta spot starring Brent Faiyaz took well over 13 million views in its first 24 hours on Instagram alone.
Multiple productions, including Akwaaba and the Delta x Team USA behind-the-scenes film, were in rotation on Delta's worldwide in-flight entertainment.
· The studio
A full crew, not a freelancer.Every phase runs in house.
Jabriel Films is a complete production house. We staff and run every phase internally, which is why we can quote a global campaign and hold the schedule.
Creative directors, writers, producers, casting and location scouts building the plan before a single frame rolls.
Directors, cinematographers, camera and lighting departments, aerial operators, sound and art, deployable domestically and internationally.
Editors, colorists, sound designers and motion artists delivering every cut, ratio and spec your channels require.
· Good to know
Before you ask.The questions we get most.
Where are you based, and do you travel?
Our studio is in Atlanta, Georgia, and we shoot throughout metro Atlanta and the Southeast. We are also booked worldwide and have filmed in more than thirty countries, so travel bookings are normal for us, not an exception.
What does a video production cost?
It depends on crew size, shoot days, travel and how finished the deliverables need to be. A single-day interview or event shoot is a very different number from a multi-day commercial. Tell us the goal and the deadline and we will send a real budget, not a guess. Music videos start at $30K.
Do you cover events and conferences?
Yes. Conferences, summits, galas, award shows, panels, brand activations and sports. We can bring multi-camera coverage, audio, and operators for b-roll, and for a rush fee we can turn recap edits around fast so the footage lands while the event is still current. In the past we have even had a full editing suite on site, cutting in real time while the event is still going on.
How long does a project take?
A straightforward interview or event recap is usually one to two weeks from shoot to delivery. A full commercial with concepting, casting and color runs four to eight weeks. Rush timelines are possible. Say so up front and we will build the schedule around it.
Can you livestream an event?
Yes. We run switched multi-camera livestreams to YouTube, LinkedIn or your own player, and we record an isolated file of every camera at the same time so you still have a proper edit afterwards.
Do you only do the whole project, or will you do part of it?
Either. We handle concept through final delivery, and we also take post-only work on footage you already have: editorial, color, sound design, motion graphics and multi-format cutdowns.
What equipment do you have?
We own our package. Cinema cameras, a deep set of prime and zoom glass including our own TRIBE7 Blackwing7 set, full lighting and grip, wireless audio, aerial, and post suites, all in house and all maintained by us. It means we rarely have to source anything, we quote without a rental house in the middle, and when a client calls on short notice we can load the truck or the flight cases the same day and be anywhere in the world. That is the single thing our clients abroad tell us they value most.
Who is actually on set?
One in-house team: directors, cinematographers, sound engineers, gaffers, grips, writers and producers. We handle staffing and logistics, and you get one point of accountability rather than a chain of subcontractors.
Can we rent your lenses without booking a crew?
Yes. A TRIBE7 Blackwing7 T-Tuned X-Flare set of 20.7mm, 37mm, 57mm and 107mm lenses, one of the few in America, now on consignment at Otto Nemenz International and available nationwide.
